Dhanvantri is Sanskrit for "The Wise and Compassionate Essence of Healing". Aushadhalaya can be translated as the "Home of the Herbs". So our name means "Herbs of Wisdom and Love" : What we are interested in is bringing the healing energy of the herbs of Ayurveda and India to the entire world in a way that truly represents the ancient wisdom. Spiritually and mentally this means that we remove all greed and mental myopia and allow our minds to stay in our hearts as much as possible. At the practical level this means that we treat the herbs as special healers and work in a way that combines both modern techniques and standards with a global healing motivation so familiar to the great Vedic herbalist of thousands of years ago. This makes our herbs, which are concentrated food supplements, more like the essence of a Mothers home cooked meal and less like the typical cold lifeless capsule. Around the world the collective consciousness is rapidly rising and there are more people like yourself who are appreciating using items with life spirit, with essence, as opposed to items that have the Life processed out of them. To further ensure a quality product every step of production complies to USP standards and to ensure a quality environment for future generations a significant portion of our profits go to help protect nature.

| . | Ayurveda is the oldest and most comprehensive healing modality on the
planet. Mother to most of worldâs healing traditions, the theory
and practice of Ayurveda unifies the apparent disparity between them.
Now as the world moves toward a single system of holistic planetary medicine
it finds itself returning to the source and re-entering the vast ancient
realm of Ayurveda.
Ayur means Life, and Veda means Knowledge. Ayurveda is the ancient system of Medicine from the Himalayan Mountains. I have a book on it written over 3000 years ago, and the history of it goes back at least 8000 years. It is so awesome, so deep, as it sees a person emanating from Pure Being 'down' through subtle bodies and then into grosser forms until we have the physical world before us, of which our personal physical body is part of. So the healing of Ayurveda starts at the essence of Being, from Pure Still Consciousness, and works its way down through the subtle bodies of bliss, intelligence and mind and energy to the physical body and finally to the symptoms appearing on the physical and mental plane. So many subtle energies are woven through these subtle and gross bodies, and they are known by Ayurveda and so their actions and reactions are predictable. So where a western doctor may give you aspirin for a headache, or cut out an organ or something a bit hasty like that, a healer skilled in Ayurveda (maybe a doctor, maybe a grandmother) may say something like:
Ayurveda, as developed by the precious Rishis during the Vedic Age, is about a whole lifestyle of health and well-being, purity and joyfulness for the ultimate purpose of realizing One's own nature. It is not about modern 'magical bullets,' which tend to temporally ameliorate or pacify symptoms while leaving the source of the disease untouched. The focus of Ayurveda is on absolute perfect Health, not disease! The basic 'assumption' of Ayurveda is that you are That consciousness out of which all bodies and minds arise from, as opposed to western medicine and society, which takes one to be the body-brain mechanical Newtonian machine. In this analogy, Ayurveda is more an expression of the unity of Quantum Mechanics than the limited separateness of Newtonian Physics. Living according to the principles of Ayurveda promotes that health which leads to the four goals of life, which includes moksha, Enlightenment! Living non-Ayurvedically is called Prajna Paradha, literally meaning "crimes against wisdom," which is the cause of so much individual, familial, social and planetary suffering. Ayurveda is like Physics or Math in that it belongs to everybody. Though Ayurveda was originally 'seen' by the sages of India, it is common to all, it is perennial wisdom, and so Ayurveda belongs to every creature in the universe. All healing modalities have their time, place, and purpose in the present day. Ayurveda encompasses all of them and uses their techniques in proper harmony in order to balance the various facets of the Life Force. In this balance one's being is inclined to be free from all distractions so Self can focus on That blissful Self, so that everybody can attain their innate full potential. The remedies offered by Dhanvantri Aushadhalaya is based on Ayurveda, the beautiful wisdom of Life and Self that is both as ancient and as fresh as Life itself.
